Nala Gareng

Een van de punakawan, de komische bedienden uit het Javaanse wayangspel. Hij is de zoon van Semar. Nala Gareng is klein en heeft een uitgezakte buik en een knolneus. Hij houdt iedereen op niet al te kiese wijze voor de gek. Soms vermomt hij zich als ridder of koning.
