contains an explanation of the terms, expressions, concepts, puppetry techniques, characteristic
puppet theatre figures and important people.

Hansworst

Aan het Duits (Hanswurst) ontleende naam. Werd gebruikt voor de komische hoofdfiguur van de oud-Hollandse poppenkast voordat deze de naam Jan Klaassen kreeg. De naam Hansworst werd ook dikwijls toegekend aan de potsenmaker als komische toneelfiguur.
